________

Paul

.UNLESS you were part of the music scene in West Tennessee or the Mid-South in the '70's and '80's then you probably are not familiar with Paul unless you are fans and followers of Rick K and the Allnighters or the Van-Dells.

If you pass that test you still may not be familiar with his solo music.

But in all the years he was rocking the house with the two aforementioned bands, between engagements he was recording his solo music in a tiny home studio.

Paul was a multi-instrumentalist/ singer/song writer so everything you hear on this first disc is all Paul.

Despite the years he worked on these tunes his  sudden passing put a finality on their state of completion.  A few songs might have some bits of incomplete lyrics, maybe a stretch where you expect a guitar break and there isn’t one. Some could use some polishing and some were even overworked. There were unfinished demos that showed promise.

 They are all Masters now.

I don’t know why he never took the next step.  I’m sure he thought he had more time -- like we all do.

This is the next step; the first collection of three, maybe four cd’s. It is all original material except the last track, the first song he ever sang lead on as a teenager, courtesy of Rick K.  If you are a fan as far back as his band, The Windows, you may recognize one or two or more tunes from this collection.

To Paul’s fan base with the Van-Dells or Rick K, the cover tunes that Paul sang with those bands will follow in the second cd, plus many more.
